Executive Director
Randy Olson is the Iowa Biodiesel Board's executive director, where he works closely with a board of directors representing biodiesel manufacturers, feedstock supply associations, marketers and end-users.
Since the launch of the Iowa Biodiesel Board in July 2007, Olson has worked to promote the commercial success of biodiesel in Iowa. He has an extensive background in both the chemical and financial industries.
A native Iowan, Olson returned to the state to purchase the acreage on his family's Century Farm in 2002.
Olson holds a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and philosophy from Simpson College.
