Iowa Soybean Association, Vice Chair

Ron Heck has had a long and productive career as a volunteer leader for agricultural and renewable fuels organizations.  He serves on the Iowa Biodiesel Board as a representative of the Iowa Soybean Association, of which he’s been a member since 1975!

Heck also currently serves on the Steering Committee for 25x25, an organization that works toward providing 25 percent of the total energy consumed in the U.S. from renewable resources by 2025.

Heck has served on many boards and held national leadership positions, including chairman of the American Soybean Association in 2004-2005.  He is past president of ISA, and was a director on the National Biodiesel Board for 10 years.

In September 2002, Heck completed a term on the Chicago Reserve Board Advisory Committee for Agriculture, Labor and Small Business.  In August 2002, he finished a term on the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Department of Energy's Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee.
