Biodiesel in Iowa

Iowa is a national leader in biodiesel production.

Biodiesel is a cleaner-burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but can be blended at any level with diesel to create a blend.

Iowa biodiesel producers play a critical role in providing the nation with America's only Advanced Biofuel.  This economic activity benefits all of Iowa.
